Inaugural Event
The first-ever Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair brings 50 exhibitors to the Wyoming city from September 12 to 15.
For the past 34 years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival has taken place in September and helped solidify the city’s status as a top art destination. This year, running concurrently with the 35th event, is a brand-new experience for visitors to the city: the Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair. Happening September 12 to 15 at the Snow King Sports and Events Center, the fair will feature 50 national dealers that specialize in historic Western art, contemporary realism and more.
“We are proud to be able to present this inaugural edition of Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair,” says Rick Friedman, executive director of Showhamptons, which produces the fair. “Our exhibitors will be showcasing important works that range across genres, providing visitors an
opportunity to explore Western, Native American art and Wildlife art alongside modern and contemporary artists such as Maynard Dixon, Andy Warhol, Ed Mell and Ed Ruscha.”
Exhibitors for the first outing include Abend Gallery, Addison Rowe Fine Art, Mark Sublette Medicine Man Gallery, Maxwell Alexander Gallery, Kiechel Fine
Art, Stevens Fine Art, Wilde Meyer Gallery, Matthew Rowe Fine Art, Nieto Fine Art and Waddell Gallery.
Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair opens September 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. with an Opening Sneak Peek; show hours continue September 13 and 14 from noon to 6 p.m. and September 15 from noon to 4 p.m. The fair will collaborate with a number of local charities, museums and companies for special events and programming throughout its run.
