A Week Outdoors
ENPLEINAIRTEXAS returns with 31 artists on October 19 in San Angelo, Texas.
More than 30 artists from 22 states will be on hand at the sixth annual ENPLEINAIRTEXAS competition in San Angelo, Texas, beginning October 29. Up for grabs is more than $20,000 in cash awards. This year’s judge is painter Donald Demers, a Signature Member of Plein Air Painters of America.
Noteworthy events during the nine-day competition include a talk by Demers titled “What Makes a Good Painting” on October 25, the Morning Paintout at the Roping on October 26 during a junior livestock show, and the exhibit and sale, as well as a chuck wagon brunch, on October 27. Additionally, there are many occasions throughout the event where guests can watch artists work and ask them questions.
