The Sears Art Mu­seum at Dixie State Univer­sity is a beau­ti­ful space that en­gages vis­i­tors in dis­cov­er­ing mean­ing­ful con­nec­tions with artis­tic ex­pres­sions and presents op­por­tu­ni­ties for con­ver­sa­tion, con­tem­pla­tion and a co­op­er­a­tive ex­pe­ri­ence.

This year the mu­seum cel­e­brates the 33rd an­nual Robert N. and Peggy Sears Dixie In­vi­ta­tional Art Show and Sale. Open­ing ev­ery Pres­i­dent’s Day week­end, this ex­tra­or­di­nary show will ex­hibit Fe­bru­ary 14 through March 29, 2020. Tickets can be or­dered by vis­it­ing the Sears Art Mu­seum web­site. The show boasts a va­ri­ety of art in­clud­ing land­scape, por­trait, Western, sculp­ture and con­tem­po­rary pieces. The show and sale en­joys an im­pres­sive his­tory of suc­cess. Par­tic­i­pat­ing artists in­clude Jeremy Win­borg, Doug Adams, Roy­den Card, Lynn Grif­fin, Ge­orge Han­dra­han, Shanna Kunz, Mike Malm, Julie Rogers, El­iz­a­beth Rob­bins and Alexan­der Se­lytin, just to name a few. The mu­seum de­pends on this an­nual show and sale to fund its con­tin­ued growth and sup­port five to six shows each sea­son.
