The Sears Art Museum at Dixie State University is a beautiful space that engages visitors in discovering meaningful connections with artistic expressions and presents opportunities for conversation, contemplation and a cooperative experience.

This year the museum celebrates the 33rd annual Robert N. and Peggy Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show and Sale. Opening every President’s Day weekend, this extraordinary show will exhibit February 14 through March 29, 2020. Tickets can be ordered by visiting the Sears Art Museum website. The show boasts a variety of art including landscape, portrait, Western, sculpture and contemporary pieces. The show and sale enjoys an impressive history of success. Participating artists include Jeremy Winborg, Doug Adams, Royden Card, Lynn Griffin, George Handrahan, Shanna Kunz, Mike Malm, Julie Rogers, Elizabeth Robbins and Alexander Selytin, just to name a few. The museum depends on this annual show and sale to fund its continued growth and support five to six shows each season.

“It is an honor to work with more than 120 exceptional artists and exhibit their artwork in the Invitational. The legacy of art is celebrated with expression, diversity and collaboration throughout the year.” — Kathy Cieslewicz, DSU director and curator, Sears Art Museum
