“All of the paintings for my show are the culmination of new ideas and thoughts that I have had in regards to my approach to painting over the last couple of years, combined with my greater past. My goal is that this may create a more visually interesting painting that the collector can enjoy years down the road. I find myself looking for the abstracts one can come across in nature and improving upon them when needed. I think the highest form of visual art is when one can create a pleasing abstract within the grasps of reality.” –Kyle Sims
