The Yellowstone Art Museum is thrilled to announce that more than 800 works of art were submitted for jury to this year’s Yellowstone Art Auction, setting a record and welcoming new artists from around the country. The event, which will take place online this year, will have top-quality and diverse works of art. Opening night is slated for January 22, with the online bidding platform going live at 5 p.m. This is the first chance to see the work in person and online, and collectors’ first chance to bid on work via the “Buy-it-now” platform. The museum will also be hosting intimate Quick-finish events on a weekly basis leading up to the big night, an opportunity to watch artists complete work in real-time. The pieces will then be auctioned off during the live auction portion of the event. These events will follow current Covid-19 guidelines. The exhibition and bidding culminate on March 6.
