The Hockaday Museum presents its annual exhibition A Timeless Legacy in Montana.

Now open at the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell, Montana, is A Timeless Legacy, the museum’s annual celebratio­n of Glacier National Park and the artists who create within its boundaries. This year’s show is the eighth edition and comes with a new theme attached to the show title: A Timeless Legacy: Artists of Glacier, Past and Present. The exhibition features contempora­ry artists, loaned historic works and artifacts from Glacier National Park’s collection and archives and private collectors, and features works from the Hockaday’s permanent collection.

More than 50 works will be in this year’s show “with subject matter ranging from Glacier’s iconic views, to the wildlife that roam the park, cultures both past and present, and the splendor of one of the earliest national parks in America,” the museum notes. This year’s featured artists are Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey, Carole Cooke, Francesca Droll, Michelle Grant, Bonnie Zahn Griffith, Julie Jeppsen, John Hughes, Shanna Kunz, Erica Neumann, Gini Ogle, Mark Ogle and Sally Vannoy. Artists from the permanent collection include John Fery, Linda Tippetts, Linda Wilder, Winold Reiss, T.J. Hileman, Krystii Melaine, Ace Powell, Lucy Van Slyck, Leonard Lopp, Joe de Yong, Charlie Fritz and many others.
