3 HYRUM JOE PAINTS LIVE AT BLUE RAIN GALLERY

In August, during Santa Fe Indian Market, Blue Rain Gallery had several artists in the gallery working on pieces in front of a live audience. One of those artists was painter Hyrum Joe, who painted a top-down view of a Native American woman wearing traditional Navajo jewelry asleep on several weavings. Guests at the gallery were able to see the piece develop as Hyrum layered more and more detail and color on the canvas. The work, titled Navajo Dreams, is now done and available at the gallery.
