60th Anniversary Yellowstone Art Auction
The Yellowstone Art Museum holds its 56th annual art auction alongside an important anniversary.
Billings, MT
For one month, the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings, Montana, will celebrate its 60th anniversary during the annual Yellowstone Art Auction. This thrilling auction event includes a varied range of art across a 135-lot silent auction, a small works gallery, quick-finish pieces and 25 live auction pieces.
In addition to the auction, attendees can expect to see special programming occurring throughout the month. This includes artist talks like that of multimedia artist Judd Thompson, who draws inspiration from his time growing up on the Crow Indian Reservation.
“The annual art auction is one of the YAM’S most treasured opportunities to spotlight celebrated regional artwork, introduce emerging artists and inspire patrons at every stage of collecting,” explains museum representatives. “We invite you to be part of this diverse and exciting exhibition and the many events surrounding it.”
Activities are currently in full swing, and culminate on March 2 for the main event, the ticketed Silent and Live Auction Gala. Please visit the museum website for ticket prices, along with additional event information.
