Gal­latin meet­ing to fo­cus on fea­si­bil­ity of water and In­ter­net ser­vice projects

BEN­TON COUNTY — A pub­lic meet­ing hosted by the Ben­ton County Ru­ral Devel­op­ment Au­thor­ity is sched­uled from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tues­day, April 3, at the Gal­latin Fire Sta­tion on Fair­mont Road to de­ter­mine if there is in­ter­est in a water ser­vice project south of High­fill’s water ser­vice area and east of the Gen­try and Siloam Springs ser­vice ar­eas.

The meet­ing is to ex­plore the fea­si­bil­ity of the project to pro­vide af­ford­able, potable water and pos­si­bly In­ter­net ser­vice to res­i­dents of the area be­tween Gen­try, Siloam Springs and Ton­ti­town. En­gi­neers and other of­fi­cials will be present to dis­cuss the pro­posed projects and answer ques­tions.
