Debra Louann Buckner
Debra Louann Buckner, 53, of Bentonville, died April 1, 2018, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
She was born Oct. 30, 1964, to Harold Gene and Oca
June (Payne) Buckner in Gravette. She lived most of her life in the McDonald County area before moving to Bentonville 16 years ago. She enjoyed family genealogy, crafts, watching the Dukes of Hazzard and anything that had to do with Star Trek.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a sister, Tina Marie Boling of Centerton; and a brother, Randal Gene Buckner and wife Edith of Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 7, at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. Burial followed in Simsbury Cemetery near Powell, Mo. Arrangements were by Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson.
Frank Lundy
Frank Lundy, 71, of Rogers, died March 29 in Bentonville.
He was born July 15, 1946, in Gravette, to Rawl and Wanda Lundy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rawlene Spear; and a daughter, Laura Spoonemore.
Survivors include a daughter, Frankie Knudson and husband David of Rogers; one stepdaughter, Sandy Brewer of Missouri; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial was on Friday, April 6, at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home Gravette.
Alice Cordelia Pittman-Davis
Alice Cordelia Pittman-Davis, 83, of Chewey, Okla., died on April 3, 2018.
She was born July 17, 1934, in Dripping Springs, Okla., to Thomas Pittman and Martha Phelps Pittman. She grew up in a household with one brother and five sisters.
She married James C. “JC” Davis on May 24, 1954. The couple had 11 sons and two daughters. She enjoyed the outdoors, including activities such as fishing, camping and picking wild onions and mushrooms. She loved to cook and had many signature dishes. She was also an accomplished seamstress and quiltmaker and was known for her beadwork and embroidery. She was a member of the Illinois River Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2009; son, Kenneth Eugene Davis; twin sons, Jackie Lee and Johnny Dee Davis; son, Donald Wayne Davis; three sisters, Minnie Hutson, Velma Mae Pittman and Mary Edna Snell; one grandchild, Bobby Joe Davis; and one great-grandchild, Ridley Ellis Nunn.
She is survived by her children, Kennard ODean Davis and wife Carol of Gentry, James Charles Davis of Chewey, Bobby Joe Davis of Chewey, Brian David Davis of Chewey, Danny DeWayne Davis and wife Dorene of Gentry, Johnny Lee Snell and Frances of Tahlequah, Okla., Brandon Lea Snell of Oaks, Okla., Alice Charlene Williams and husband Charles of Chewey, and Sandra Lynn Snell of Tahlequah, Okla.; one brother, LaVerl J. Pittman Sr. and wife Geraldine of Hawthorne, Nev.; three sisters, Bonnie Woolsey of Fruita, Colo., Rosa Sourjohn of Chewey and Barbara Pittman of Westville, Okla.; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 5 at Souls Harbor Church in Chewey with James Wilkerson and Leo Bird officiating. Burial was at Thompson Cemetery in Chewy. Arrangements were by Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
