Gravette NJHS raises money

Sev­enth- and eighth-grade mem­bers of the Na­tional Ju­nior Honor So­ci­ety at Gravette Mid­dle School pose with jars of pen­nies they col­lected. The NJHS re­cently held penny wars to raise funds for the Wounded War­rior Project. Of­fi­cers Malia John­son, sec­re­tary; Saph­fire Hol­loway, trea­surer; Katie Keith, vice pres­i­dent; and Michael Duke, pres­i­dent, pre­sented a check for $335.69. The eighth grade won the penny wars against the sixth and sev­enth grades.
