GENTRY — Gentry High School’s student council is hosting its fourth annual toy toss to collect toys for the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter at the basketball game in Gentry on Friday, Dec. 14.

New stuffed and other non-breakable toys, as well as gift cards to retail clothing stores, may be brought to the Gentry-Pea Ridge basketball game and tossed to the floor of the basketball court when the Gentry varsity girls score their first goal in the game.

Collection bins will also be available in the lobby, and donations may be dropped off at the high school campus.

The Academic Booster Club will also be holding a silent auction fundraiser at the game.
