GEN­TRY — Po­lice ar­rested Stone Dou­glas Faulken­berry, 22, of 309 S. Collins in Gen­try, on Dec. 28, in con­nec­tion with a do­mes­tic bat­tery in­ci­dent which is al­leged to have oc­curred on Dec. 18 or Dec. 19 in Gen­try.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, Faulken­berry is al­leged to have spanked a 3-year-old child, caus­ing bruis­ing, be­cause the ju­ve­nile was cry­ing. Stone was charged in con­nec­tion with do­mes­tic bat­ter­ing in the sec­ond de­gree and en­dan­ger­ing the wel­fare of a mi­nor in the sec­ond de­gree, ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports.

Other Ar­rests Ben­ton County Sher­iff’s Of­fice

• Scotty Ray Wills, 35, of 21960 W. Arkansas 102 in De­catur, was ar­rested Satur­day in con­nec­tion with ag­gra­vated as­sault on a fam­ily or house­hold mem­ber. Wills was be­ing held Satur­day in the Ben­ton County Jail with no bond set.

Ac­ci­dent in­ves­ti­ga­tion

Po­lice in Gen­try were also in­ves­ti­gat­ing a Dec. 27, 2018, ac­ci­dent on Arkansas High­way 59 be­tween a trac­tor-trailer rig and a pas­sen­ger car. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, a pas­sen­ger car driven by Teresa Ob­duski-Gior­dano of Rogers was south­bound and at­tempt­ing to make a left-hand turn into the Wooden Spoon Restau­rant when it was struck by a south­bound truck driven by An­thony Wilson of Joplin, Mo.

Ob­duski-Gior­dano was trans­ported to the hos­pi­tal fol­low­ing the ac­ci­dent and later re­leased.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, it was un­cer­tain if Ob­duski-Gior­dano was at­tempt­ing to make a left­hand turn from the in­side lane or from the turn lane. Wilson said Ob­duski-Gior­dano’s ve­hi­cle changed lanes in front of him and then braked to make a turn from the pass­ing lane. Wilson was cited for fol­low­ing too closely.
