Royce Arnold
Royce Arnold, 83, of Gravette, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at his residence.
He was born July 28, 1935, in Morton, Texas, to Elizabeth and William Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Islamae Arnold, of the home; three sons, Larry Arnold and his wife Reene, Roy Arnold and his wife Becky, and William Arnold; three daughters, Jeannie Burr and husband Jim, Kathy Kennedy and husband Billy, Debbie Pendergraft and Jason Cornell; 21 grandchildren and 33 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral service was Monday, Jan. 28, at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery located in Hiwasse.
Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home Gravette.
Kenneth Allen Norris
Kenneth Allen Norris, 91, of Gentry, died Jan. 23, 2019, at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville.
Born Aug. 5, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of Walter Allen and Matilda Norris. He married Lucille Walker 58 years ago and moved from Alaska to Arkansas several years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and in the Army and the Air Force during the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, son Larry and daughter Deborah.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, of the home; son, Gary Norris and wife Rachel of Pea Ridge; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 28, at First Baptist Church, Gentry. Burial followed at Bell Cemetery, Watts, Okla. Arrangements were under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
Jimmy Wayne White
Jimmy Wayne White, 76, of Gentry, died Jan. 24, 2019, at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton.
He was born July 1, 1942, in Granite, Okla., to John A. and Pearl L. White. He was a truck driver and member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church, Sapulpa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Breckenridge of Gentry, Tina Price and husband R.B. of Gentry, Carrie Claiborne of Sapulpa, and Jessica Collins and husband Gary of Sapulpa; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bohannon and husband Harvey of Sapulpa; brothers Billy White and wife Hazel of Belton, Texas, and Johnny White and wife Phyllis of Crystal River, Fla.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Okla. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
