Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Albertson

Elizabeth “Betty” Albertson, 89, of Decatur, died June 8, 2019, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab.

She was born April 29, 1930, in Florence, Oregon, to Walter Lund and Irene McAndle Lund. She married Arnold Albertson on Jan. 5, 1949, and worked for Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial was at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 10, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Stevie Allen Lemonds

Stevie Allen Lemonds, 58, of Decatur, died Saturday, June 1, 2019, at his home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1960, in Dyersburg, Tenn.

He was a hard-working man and a man of many talents.

He is survived by two sons, Steven and Cody Lemonds; and best friend, Lisa Brown.

Arrangemen­ts are by Epting Funeral Home of Gravette.

Mary Josephine White

Mary Josephine (Fuller) White, 94, of Kansas City, Mo., died on June 2, 2019.

She was born Aug. 3, 1924, in Joplin, Mo., to Charlie and

Freda (Boose) Fuller. Shortly after a move to Kansas City in 1928, her mother died, leaving Charlie with a four-year-old daughter and a son not yet three. He remarried in 1934 and Mary Gladys Wilson and her young son Richard joined the family. In 1938 the family moved to Gravette, where Mary’s siblings Betty, Frances, Raymond, Barbara and Eugene were born. Mary graduated from Gravette High School in 1941 and later married her classmate, William Holland White, on April 26, 1944. In 1952, they moved to North Kansas City with their baby son John Charles. She was an active member of First Christian Church, North Kansas City, Mo., since 1955. She was a volunteer in her community and was honored as Woman of the Year in 1988 by Northland Church Women United.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie, Freda and Mary Gladys; sister, Frances; brothers, Charles and Richard; and by her husband of 73 years, William Holland.

She is survived by her son, John Charles; grandsons, Nathan, Charles Eugene and Johnathan; two great-grandsons; sisters, Betty (Wayne) Butts and Barbara (Wesley) Robinson; brothers, Raymond (Nancy) Fuller, Eugene (Laurie) Fuller; and sisterin-law, Lynn Fuller.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13, with funeral service following at 11 a.m. at Newcomer’s White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 N.E. Antioch Road., Gladstone, Mo. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Bethel Cemetery south of Gravette.
