Clinton A. Foster

Clinton A. Foster passed away in Mexia, TX, on Thursday, July 30, 2019, at age 81.

He was born May 15, 1938, in Decatur, Arkansas, to Talton Foster and Lola Mae Burns Foster Wood.

Clint married Joan Robertson in 1958 and they had two daughters. He spent most of his adult life working in the constructi­on industry, most notably owning his own lathing and plastering company in Weslaco. He was very proud of the many schools, universiti­es, churches and hospitals he helped to build, along with the work he did on building the Gladys Porter Zoo. He retired from the R.E. Friedrichs Co. (REFCO) in Pharr and moved to Groesbeck, TX, to be closer to family. Some of his favorite times were going fishing, first with his mother, his brothers, his friends, and especially taking his grandsons. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His family would like to thank his caregivers from Texas Home Health, most notably Megan and Caroline, and the staff of Mexia LTC.

Clint was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Marvin Foster, Evert Foster, and Donald Foster; and his beloved grandson, Evan Jeter.

He is survived by daughters Debra Gravett (Lee), McAllen, TX; Cynthia Lenamond (Grady), Skiatook, OK; grandsons Jeff Gravett, Houston, TX, and Garrett Lenamond, Skiatook, OK; former spouse and mother of his daughters, Joan Foster, The Woodlands, TX; brothers, Carl Wood (Sherry) and Larnce Wood, both of Gentry, AR; his sister, Pauline Grimm, Riverside, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

Groesbeck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangemen­ts and no funeral services will be held at this time. The family plans to hold a “Celebratio­n of Life” at a later date. Claud Franklin Russow

Claud “Frank” Franklin Russow, 72, of Gravette, died July 30.

He was born Nov. 3, 1946, to Elmer and Mae (Sawyer) Russow of Gravette. He attended Gravette High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy in 1965. While home on leave, he married Lynda Kay Stidham. He spent 21 years in the Navy. He was of the Christian faith and attended church at Heritage Baptist Church. He spent his retirement years with his family and animals.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one brother, Mike Russow; one sister and brother-in-law, Iva Bell and Harold Fletcher of Bentonvill­e.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Kay; his two daughters, Linda and husband Lee White of Gravette, and Angela Russow of Rogers; three grandchild­ren; one greatgrand­child; three brothers, Wayne Russow, Mark and Betty Russow, Clark and Debbie Russow; one sister, Ida Russow Wheeldon and husband Harlan, all of Gravette.

Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Heritage Baptist Church, 307 Fourth Avenue S.E., Gravette. The funeral was held Friday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m., at Heritage Baptist Church, with Pastor Darrell Kelper, Th.D., officiatin­g. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette.

Arrangemen­ts were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Bobby Eugene Waldrip

Bobby Eugene Waldrip, 64, of Clifty; died Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Clifty. He was born Saturday, April 30, 1955, at Siloam Springs; to Luther and Donna Long Waldrip.

Bobby was a machinist for Emerson Electric. In his downtime, he enjoyed music and loved to play guitar, both electric and acoustic. He loved nature, animals and the outdoors; spending summers alongside the creek bank. He was an avid watcher of Gunsmoke, was a Christian, and affiliated with the Assembly of God church.

Bobby was predecease­d by his parents, and one sister, Janice Kimball.

He is survived by his wife, Robbin Rowe Waldrip of Clifty; two daughters, Sarah Waldrip of Gentry; and Amanda Bray of Gentry; one brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Jo Anne Waldrip of Rogers; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandie and Johnnie Miranda of Siloam Springs; three grandchild­ren, Audrie, Tristan, and Augustus; and the mother of his daughters, Paula Waldrip.

Graveside services will be 4:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Springtown Cemetery in Gentry, with Mike Castner officiatin­g. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville. PAID OBITUARY
