Benefit car show raises $1,639 for Bright Futures

GRAVETTE — The Gravette Cruise and Car Show group hosted a benefit car show Saturday, Aug. 20, at Gravette High School.

The show, held in the parking lot at Lion Field, attracted 93 entries from throughout the area. A total of $1,639 was raised from entry fees and half of the 50-50 pot. All proceeds went to the Gravette Bright Futures organizati­on.

Winners at the show included the following:

Power Wheels — First place, Magnolia Amy McClain, purple Ford F150; second place, Kenyel Rivera, blue Toyota Tacoma
