Gentry’s fall cleanup set

Gentry’s household fall cleanup is set for Oct. 22-23 in the city park at 410 W. Main Street, with household hazardous materials cleanup on Saturday only, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Items may be brought to the park and placed in the dumpsters provided by the city until 4 p.m. on Sunday or until the dumpsters are full. In addition, county residents may bring scrap metal, up to four tires, and two pieces of household electronics (items with circuit boards). The city will also be giving away trees provided by the Walton Family Foundation at the event while supplies last.
