HIGHFILL — The Highfill Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8:30 a.m. until the last band plays at 3:30 p.m.

Area residents are invited to celebrate the Highfill Community with free family fun, live entertainment, games, vendors and fabulous food. The event will include live entertainment, a car show, and much more, according to Anna Myers, chairman of the event.

The Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Highway 264 Fire Station and make its way to Highfill City Park. The Boy Scouts of America local troop will lead the parade, followed by the mayor, dignitaries, politicians, antique cars, bands, etc.

In the park will be a variety of merchants, community organizations, crafters, churches, and food vendors.

Children of all ages can enjoy an assortment of fun activities, including the fun run, face painting, carnival games, a pie-eating contest, pumpkin painting, tiny-tot competition and more. Adults can entertain themselves with the fun run, antique cars, Tired Iron of the Ozarks, a pieeating contest, and shopping from vendors.

“The Highfill Fall Festival is the perfect event for people new and not so new to the area to learn about all the amazing things our community has to offer,” said Myers. “We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of volunteers to help showcase the best of our community.”
