Lady Lions defeat Lady Pioneers, Lady Hawks

GRAVETTE — The Lady Lions dominated at the net and soundly defeated the visiting Lady Pioneers on Thursday, 3-0. Set scores in the game were 25-9, 25-11 and 25-15.

On Oct. 4, Gravette dropped the first two sets to Pea Ridge, 25-23 in both sets, but then fought its way back for the win in three close sets, 29-27, 2624 and 21-19.

The Lady Pioneers also played Huntsville on Oct. 4, losing in three straight sets, 25-13, 25-16 and 25-9.

The Lady Lions (17-4-2 overall and 7-4 in conference) were scheduled to travel to Berryville on Tuesday and host Huntsville on Thursday.

The Lady Pioneers are scheduled to host Pea Ridge on Tuesday and will travel to Prairie Grove on Thursday.
