Three vie for title of 2022 homecoming queen
GRAVETTE — It’s homecoming week in Gravette and special ceremonies, including the crowning of the 2022 homecoming queen, are set for Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Lion Stadium.
Queen candidates this year are seniors Trinity Burnett, Joslyn Hendren and Dannia Morales.
The homecoming court also includes senior maids Olivia Fordham and Kaitlyn Lykins, junior maids Keely Elsea and Carlie Hembree, sophomore maids Belle Cradduck and Madeline Giffin, freshman maids Keira Ralph and Lily Sharp, crown bearer Xander Jones and flower girls Everett Briggs and Micah McKinzie, with cheerleader escorts Alexis Jones and Adria Ward.
In addition to dress-up days this week, Friday activities include a parade at 10 a.m., a pep rally at 2 p.m. in Lion Stadium and the game against Green Forest at 7 p.m. A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. for the football team, cheer squad, band, student council and homecoming court.
A dance is planned from 8 to 10 p.m. on Saturday in the GHS Commons.
The theme for this year’s homecoming is “Lions Got Game.”
