Gentry runners place in Huntsville

GENTRY — Placers at the Huntsville Eagles Invitation­al cross-country 500-meter race at Huntsville on October 15 were Jakob Cox, second overall, with a time of 19:08.60, and Morgan Polina, ninth overall, with a time of 23:50.46. Both were new Pioneer records.

On the boys’ side, Rivers Lor finished in 15th, with a time of 21:26.30. Diego Reynoso finished in 20th with a time of 22:30.85. Connor Miller finished in 25th with a time of 23:41.66, and Yohan Lee was 34th with a time of 27:47.55. The boys’ team finished in third place, with 67 points.

On the girls’ side, Polina was the only runner for Gentry.
