Darrell Ray Hecht II
Darrell Ray (D.R.) Hecht II, 28, of Decatur, died Nov. 6, 2022, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette.
He was born on April 21, 1994, at Gravette Medical Center Hospital to Darrell Ray and Andra L. Faddis Hecht. He was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas and graduated from Decatur High School. He was a highly proficient computer gamer with friends all over the world, built his own computers and servers, and was often called on to repair computers at the schools. He loved music, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, reading, writing, and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Argus and Dorothy Faddis; and one uncle, Neil Hecht.
Survivors include his parents, Darrell and Andra Hecht of Decatur; his sister, Crystal Tackett (Aaron) of Dardanelle; his paternal grandparents, Wanda Maxine and Don Kennedy and Ivan Hecht, all of Jay, Okla.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Decatur Assembly of God Church.
