Gravette Christmas Parade

Gravette’s annual Christmas parade will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, with “A Holly Jolly Christmas” as the theme. Members of the Gravette historical museum commission will serve hot chocolate and cookies at the Gravette community room after the parade with an opportunit­y to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and have a photo op with him. The Kindley House will be open for tours, and members of the Gravette High School band and choir will be on hand to provide holiday music and sing carols. Members of the Gravette Fire Department and Gravette Police Department will hold their annual chili cookoff on the museum grounds and invite everyone to come by, sample the chili and vote for their favorite with a cash donation. Proceeds will go to the winning team’s chosen charity. The Gravette Public Library will host an open house before the parade, from 4 to 4:30 p.m., with hot chocolate, hot cider and cookies baked by the Jolly Good Times home extension club.
