Vera Moorman
Vera B. Moorman of Sulphur Springs, 99, died on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022.
She was born March 4, 1923, to John and Lillian Frick in Atwood, Kan. She enjoyed watching sports on TV and particularly watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and the NFL Raiders. She enjoyed time with her family and had some of the grandchildren stay with her during the summer in Sulphur Springs. She was a member of the Sulphur Springs Friendly Neighbors Club and the United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. She enjoyed working on the farm and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Moorman; son, Bob Moorman; granddaughter, Kim Moorman; and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Yates (Dan) of Sulphur Springs; daughter-in-law, Teresa Moorman; grandchildren, Tracy Moorman (Jennifer) of Sulphur Springs, Josh Stone (Megan-fiancée) of Sulphur Springs, Whitney Sharp (Jeremy) of Springdale, Colt Moorman (Abby-fiancée) of Sulphur Springs; and several greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista. Burial will follow at the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs.
