The Black & White of It

WhereTraveler Las Vegas - - WHERE NOW -

The Roaring ‘20s are alive-and-well in Las Vegas and in the LIMELIGHT, a stunning new production that pays tribute to artists such as Charlie Chaplin, who pioneered the art of facial expression, body language and movement in telling a story. According to one of the show’s producers, Danial Brown, who has danced on Broadway, with Michael Jackson and as a L.A. Lakers girl, “the performers literally jump off the screen and onto the stage in a magical marriage of the old and new that’s sexy, smart, elegant and edgy all at once.” Look for Betty Boop and burlesque numbers to appear in the show as well. Named after one of Charlie Chaplin’s most famous films, LIMELIGHT’s mix of singing, dancing, comedy and magic rekindles the feel and energy of the Roaring ‘20s with a seductive edge. Limited engagement ends Nov. 1. At the Plaza in downtown Las Vegas, (702) 386-2507, www.limelight
