UNIQUE TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS, FIT TO MATCH YOUR PERSONAL STYLE. FIND THE CITY CURATED FOR YOU AT WHERETRAVELER.COM/ORLANDO
For a memorable (hopefully) bachelorette weekend, hit International Drive. With a nice selection of restaurants, Pointe Orlando is a good place to start. For the food and the fun factor stop by Taverna Opa—you're actually encouraged to get up on the tables and dance. After dinner, stroll over to (1) Icebar, where you can enjoy bottle service and don fur coats inside the 22- degree ice bar. Continue the bar crawl at Howl at the Moon, where the dueling pianists know every song under the sun and especially love bachelorettes. Grab a specialty cocktail at (2) Sugar
Factory and take your party up 400 feet on the Orlando Eye on your own private capsule. End the night at (3) Mango's Tropical Cafe, a spectacular Latin club straight out of South Beach with live shows nightly.
Guys Night Out
Orlando offers plenty of fun for the guys, too. Take an Uber over to the Hard Rock Hotel for a famous steak dinner at (1) The Palm. Then walk over to Universal CityWalk, where you’ll find a mix of dance clubs and bars. Grab a beer and watch the game on one of the 100 big screens at (2) NBC Sports Grill & Brew, the only restaurant of its kind in the country. Pat O’Brien’s is another great option, with hurricanes served in the courtyard just like New Orleans. Once you’ve had some liquid courage, you're ready for Rising Star where you can take the stage with your own band and back-up singers. After your 15 minutes of fame, head over to (3) Red Coconut Club for great people watching. ( Tip: Purchase a Party Pass for $12, which gives you access to each bar in CityWalk.)
Start your day with a stunning (1) hot air bal
loon ride, just in time to see the sun rise over Central Florida. Toast with a glass of sparkling wine before crawling back in bed. Then head to the lovely town of Winter Park for a onehour boat ride. Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours will take you on Lake Osceola and two other lakes connected by narrow canals. You’ll see cypress trees and birds along with milliondollar homes and Rollins College, Florida’s oldest university. Grab lunch at a charming sidewalk café on nearby (2) Park Avenue. For the ultimate date night, make reservations at (3) Victoria & Albert’s, located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, where award-winning chef Scott Hunnel presents seven immaculate courses paired with wine. Outside, see the fireworks shower Cinderella Castle.
