For 50 years, Kiowa pho­tog­ra­pher Ho­race Poolaw (19061984) doc­u­mented friends and fam­ily in their home­town of Anadarko, Ok­la­homa. In “For a Love of His Peo­ple,” Poolaw's photos re­veal rarely seen in­ti­mate mo­ments that blend na­tive tra­di­tions with mod­ern life.
