Thorn­ton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-win­ning drama Our Town is an Amer­i­can clas­sic and has been per­formed and adapted count­less times since its de­but in 1938. The play fol­lows the ev­ery­day lives of the ci­ti­zens of a fic­tional town called Grover’s Cor­ners as it ex­plores ex­is­ten­tial­ism and il­lu­mi­nates the bonds that hold com­mu­ni­ties to­gether. Mil­wau­kee Bal­let is putting a new spin on the clas­sic Beauty and the Beast tale with artis­tic di­rec­tor Michael Pink’s in­ter­pre­ta­tion, fo­cus­ing on Belle’s point of view. Beauty and the Beast fea­tures an in­ter­na­tional cast of dancers, as well as nearly 80 chil­dren from Mil­wau­kee Bal­let School & Academy. B~Free — one of most sought-af­ter mu­si­cians of the Mid­west and alum of the Mil­wau­kee High School of the Arts — presents MJ-Un­cov­ered: A Rein­ter­pre­ta­tion of the Music of Michael Jack­son. The concert will be cu­rated by B~Free and fea­ture lo­cal fa­vorites Klas­sik, Cree Myles, Im­mor­tal Girl­friend and many more.
