Marquette University presents the rarely produced Shakespeare play Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Pericles is chased from kingdom to kingdom by a dangerous foe, finding romance and adventure along the way. When he loses his family and his will to continue, he struggles to find a happy ending to his story. Written by Shirley Lauro, A Piece of My Heart focuses on the impact of the Vietnam War and the women who served as nurses, Red Cross workers and entertainers overseas. Watch Cooperative Performance portray how women’s experiences in the war-torn jungles of Vietnam changed their lives. The play examines the characters before, during and after their service.
