Good Samaritan
I often walk my dogs on a trail a short drive away from my home. Since I don’t like lugging my purse with me, I just slip my driver’s license in my pocket. One day, after returning home from our walk, I reached into my pocket only to find that my license was gone! Panicked, I hurried to retrace my steps, but my ID was nowhere to be found. I was making arrangements to go to the DMV and get a replacement when the doorbell rang. “Is this yours?” a woman asked, holding my license. I was so thankful! She’d found it on the trail and came over to return it. She saved me a huge hassle—i can’t thank my good Samaritan enough! —Carol Tudor, Easthampton, MA
