Bake up a batch of heart-shaped cookies!

It’s easy to spread the love even more with these sugar-topped piecrust cookies courtesy of Rachelcook­s.com:

2 cans refrigerat­ed piecrust 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted 1 tsp. Princess Bakery Emulsion ($5.95 for 4 oz. at Kingarthur­flour.com) Red, purple and pink decorating sugars 1Preheat oven to 350°F and line backing sheet with parchment paper. 2Using a rolling pin, roll out piecrust dough onto a clean surface until the dough reaches 1/4" thickness. Then, using cookie cutter, cut out hearts and transfer onto prepared baking sheet. 3In a small bowl, mix together melted butter and bakery emulsion. Brush cookies generously with this mixture, then top with lots of decorating sugar. 4Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. 5Wait until the cookies are cool enough to handle, and enjoy!
