A message from Heaven
Like his wife, Ron Clemens of Alachua, Florida, is a faithful Woman’s World reader and a big believer in angels. Here he shares a text message he received from his father-in-law in Heaven! He writes:
“When I saw Lena’s name, I knew the angels had sent the text message!” Ron says

When my father-in-law, Mike, passed away suddenly, the entire family was in shock. My wife was especially distraught. She had always been very close to her dad. So on the evening of Mike’s passing, in an effort to spare her more pain, I told her I would notify her father’s friends.
I took Mike’s cellphone and went out on the back patio to make the calls.
As I scrolled through his contact list, I suddenly thought about the “My Guardian Angel” column in Woman’s World. My wife and I read it every week and are always deeply touched by the stories of angels sending messages to families of deceased loved ones. I paused to take a deep breath, wishing the angels might give us a sign that Mike was happy, and in a better place.
As I was about to make the first call, a text came through. I thought that was strange.
Mike wasn’t tech- savvy and had only received two text messages on his cellphone since he’d bought it. One was from the phone company, informing him that he had texting capabilities, and the other was a test text from his wife.
I looked down at the message and a chill ran through my body. It read: Lena, and came from an unrecognized number.
Mike’s Aunt Lena had helped raise him. She was like a second mom to him. But Lena had passed away several years before her favorite nephew.
I immediately went back inside to show my wife, and her face paled when she read the text. I didn’t have the nerve to call the number, but overwhelmed by curiosity, my wife dialed it. A recording came on, advising that it wasn’t a working number. This added even more mystery to the situation.
Then I remembered wishing that we might receive a sign from the angels that Mike was happy and in a better place. That’s when I realized the text was the sign I had asked for. When I told my wife about my request, tears filled here yes. “Yes,” she wept, agreeing the text was from the angels, letting us know that Mike was indeed very happy and with his Aunt Lena. “The angels have no limitations and can give us clear signs in ingenious ways,” says Doreen Virtue, PH.D. “Over the years, I’ve received dozens of stories about people receiving telephone calls from Heaven. This is probably the first time though that I’ve heard of a text from Heaven. But the angels will do whatever it takes to comfort us.
“How like the angels to immediately answer Ron’s prayer with a text that could not be explained otherwise. Ron is correct: Mike and his beloved Aunt Lena were immediately reunited in Heaven after his passing. Our loved ones greet us when we cross over to Heaven, and Ron was notifi ed in a very special and unique way.
“The angels say: ‘ When a loved one passes from Earth to Heaven, we go to work to help bereaved family and friends with tailor- made signs to heal their hearts.’ ”
