My Guardian Angel

When Marilyn Crawford, of Frederick, Maryland, asked the angels to send a sign that her husband was still with her, they answered via the U.S. mail! She writes:

My husband, James, was always very caring and attentive. When I suffered a stroke, he visited me in the hospital daily, and stayed by my side the entire day. Later, he drove more than 30 miles a day while I was in a rehabilitation center, never once complaining.

After several months of treatment, I was able to go home, and thankfully return to my teaching position.

But, sadly, my relief was short-lived.

During my fi rst week back at school, I received a phone call, telling me that my dear husband had collapsed and was in the emergency room.

I raced to the hospital and was heartbroken when the doctor told us that James had untreatable liver disease.

“My guardian angel sent a message from my husband that healed my heart!” Marilyn marvels

I attempted to care for him at home, but after a while realized, regrettably, that due to my own frailty, I could not continue to do so.

James was placed in a Hospice House. I sat by his bedside every day, and we grew closer than ever during his last days.

Though I knew that my husband’s illness was terminal, I was not prepared when the end came. It had come far too soon.

After James passed, I was devastated. I’ve always been a believer in the angels and their ability to send us messages from loved ones who’ve passed. I asked the angels to send me a sign that James was happy and still with me.

Almost immediately after asking the angels for their help, I received a catalog in the mail. Opening it, I saw an ad for a beautiful necklace with an inscription. Tears fi lled my eyes as I read the words: Marilyn, I love you still, I always have, I always will. James.

Stunned, I read the message again, and, suddenly, I was fi lled with a sense of peace. I knew the message was from my beloved James in Heaven, delivered via the U.S. mail!

I saved the ad, and even now, when I read it, I am comforted knowing that James still watches over me, like a guardian angel.
