Pink like a cherry blossom and fun to drink, this spicy cocktail combines red beet juice, cinnamon and a bit of ginger for a pretty and refreshing springtime treat!

Ice cubes 3 Tbs. dark rum 1 Tbs. beet juice 2 tsp. simple syrup* 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

In ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine all ingredient­s; cover and shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into martini glass. Serves 1. *To make syrup, bring equal parts sugar and water to boil; stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; cool.
