Make the most of your melon!

Melons are delicious as is, or try them . . .

Frozen! Place 1 1/2 cups melon cubes of or pulp in a blender with a 1/2 cup water, 1 Tbs. lemon or lime juice honey and or sugar to taste. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into ice pop molds. Freeze until solid.

Grilled! Cube and skewer or cut melon into thick. (The wedges about 1"-1 1/2" rind can be left on or cut off). Brush season with the melon with oil salt and and pepper. Grill over high heat, turning once, until lightly charred, about 5 minutes. Cube (also a melon!), Tossed in a salad! sweet melon and pair it with any combinatio­n of greens, cucumber feta or mozzarella cheese, roasted chicken, grilled shrimp and fresh mint, basil or dill. olive Dress with oil and lime juice. As soup! Blend with melon orange juice, a little lime 1-2 tsp. of minced juice, ginger and a pinch of cinnamon. Chill and serve with a dollop of low-fat sour cream or yogurt.
