❏ book paper; 1 sheet each of patterned dark pink foil and a subtle, pale gold pattern (both of our damask patterns came from The Midnight Berry stack from DCWV, available at Joann.com)
❏ Decorative edge scissors; ours are scalloped
❏ Glue stick
❏ Large scraps or 8 1/2"x11" sheets of glitter scrapbook paper in dark and light pink (ours are “Rock Candy” glitter papers from Colorbok, available at Amazon.com)
❏ 1" pink gem
❏ 4 (1/4") pink gems
❏ Craft glue (if gems don’t have sticky backs)
❏ 12" square gold frame (ours is from Artoframes. com)
1Trim the gold patterned paper to 10 1/4" square using the decorative-edge scissors, then glue-stick it, centered, to the patterned pink paper. 2Enlarge patterns (right) at 400% twice. Cut the paler pattern pieces from the light pink glitter paper, the darker ones from the dark, then turn over all the asymmetrical patterns except the largest light pink one and cut those shapes out again. 3Using our main photo (above) as a guide, use the glue stick to apply light pink pieces to the dark p ink ones. 4Assemble
pieces as shown, centered, on gold paper and glue-stick them down. Glue the large gem to the center bar of the fleur-de-lis and a smaller gem to each corner of gold paper. Insert the finished project into the 12"- square frame.
