Have Fun with Kids!
It’s so simple to snip and glue together this adorable felt kitten, a fun feline wardrobe and a cute cottage “closet!”
What you’ll need
Stiff cardboard; 3 (9"x12") sheets or equivalent 9"x12" white felt, large pink scraps, scraps of several colors including red and black Craft glue Pink permanent marker 2 (8 1/2"x11") sheets white cardstock Assorted lightweight fabric scraps Trimming scraps; small buttons 1/2 yd. dotted pink lightweight fabric 1 1/2 yds. 3/8" dotted pink ribbon 1 yd. narrow white rickrack White Velcro ® cut 3/8"x1 3/4" Pink gem 1/2 yd. narrow white trimming

kitty and clothing patterns (below) at 400%, then 130%. Your child cuts one kitty shape from cardboard, two from white felt. She glues cardboard between felt pieces. She cuts felt facial features, glues on; draws marker smile, as shown.
2Your
child cuts clothing shapes, with top tabs, from cardstock. She cuts felt and fabric clothes, adding for overlaps. She glues clothes to cardstock, as shown, adds trimmings.

house pattern (below) at 400%, then 250%. Your child cuts 2 houses from cardboard, lays flat, 3/16" apart. Help her glue dotted fabric over both, connecting them. She trims edges, leaving 1/4", folds and glues excess to back, as shown, then covers back with fabric. She cuts two 5 1/2"x3" pockets, glues sides and bottom, adds rickrack, glues ribbon along house’s side and top. She adds Velcro to edges.
