Celebrate San Gennaro with a sausage and pepper hero!

If you’re in New York this week, join more than a million visitors and head to the Feast of San Gennaro, which takes place in Manhattan’s Little Italy September 14th-24th. The festival is famous for cafés that spill onto the sidewalks, cannolieating contests and stands with Italian-american delicacies like fried ravioli and garlic knots. Not nearby? Bring a taste of the fair home with sausage and pepper hero sandwiches! Simply throw cooked Italian sausages, sliced red peppers and sliced onions on the grill or pan-fry until browned.
