Turn fabric strips into a rustic-chic garland!

You’ll need for a 3-yd. length of garland fabrics 1 yd. each of 4 different coordinati­ng 3 1/2 yds. of twine or rope Tacks or small nails for hanging

1 Snip the strips! Cut the fabrics into strips. (Each strip should measure 8"x1".) You will need at least 24 strips for each linear foot of garland.)

2 one end of your twine/ Tie ’em on! Make a knot 8" from allowing a 1" tail above rope. Tie on your first fabric strip, (as shown). Gently slide the rope and a 6" tail below the rope your twine. Repeat, the fabric knot against the knot in patchwork effect, alternatin­g fabrics for a deconstruc­ted until the entire rope is covered.
