I had just started a new job and was checking out the building’s cafeteria. Being new, I felt out of place as I walked past the groups of people sitting together and swore I could feel people staring, but I figured I was being paranoid— until a woman came up to me and said, “Excuse me, there’s something on your bag!” It turns out, the extra pair of pantyhose I’d stashed just in case was dangling from my purse!
