“Coffee’s on me today!”

Iwas waiting in line at Mcdonald’s when I noticed an older man standing at the next register. He ordered a small cup of coffee and an apple pie. I had a coupon for a free coffee, so I gave it to him. “Coffee’s on me today!” I said. He was so surprised. “You made my day!” he beamed. In fact, everyone around us was smiling, even the cashier. Kindness feels so good!
