“This takes a bit more time than hot chocolate from a mix,” Sandra admits. “But the rich lusciousne­ss is so worth it!” 3/4 cup half-and-half 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon Vanilla vodka, hazelnut liqueur and mini marshmallo­ws, optional

In small pot, combine half-and-half, milk, chocolate chips and ground cinnamon. Over medium heat, cook, stirring often until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes. Be careful not to let boil.

Remove from heat and pour into mug. Add a shot of vanilla vodka or hazelnut liqueur and top with mini marshmallo­ws, if you like. Makes 2 servings.
