“A small gesture brightened my whole day!”

One day while trying to catch the elevator at work, the doors on the far end opened up. After having been in a car accident years ago, I’ve developed arthritis in my legs, and running hurts. So I knew there was simply no way I was going to get there before the doors closed. Just then, a gentleman I’d never met before who was also getting on the elevator noticed me rushing. “It’s fine,” I called, insisting that he get on. I didn’t want to make him late, too! “I’ll just catch the next car.” But he shook his head. “Take your time. I’m in no hurry,” he smiled.
