A study at the U.K.’S Manchester Metropolitan University found that simply doing this “eye glide” sharpened recall by as much as 25%. Turns out, horizontal eye movements help the two hemispheres of your brain interact more efficiently, supercharging your ability to remember anything from someone’s name to where you put those pesky keys.
