Creamy Mixed Vegetable Casserole

Frozen cauliflowe­r, broccoli and golden corn bake up decadently delicious in an easy from-scratch cheese sauce

1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen cauliflowe­r, thawed 1⁄ (16 oz.) pkg. frozen 2 broccoli florets, thawed 1⁄ cup butter, at room temp. 4 1⁄ cup all-purpose flour 4 1 clove garlic, minced 21⁄ cups milk 2 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar 1⁄ tsp. salt 2 1⁄ tsp. cayenne pepper 4 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn kernels, thawed 2-qt. Heat baking oven to dish; 400°F. add Grease first 2 ingredient­s. In pot over low heat, melt butter. Add flour and garlic; cook 1 min., stirring. Stir in milk; bring to a boil, stirring. Simmer 3– 4 min. Stir in Cheddar cheese, salt and cayenne pepper. Add corn; pour into baking dish. Bake 20 min. Broil until golden, 2–3 min. Cover; if necessary, reheat in microwave. Servings: 8.
