Tangle-proof lights with a paper-towel roll

Tired of tangled twinklers? To the rescue: paper-towel tubes! “On each end of the roll, cut a slot about an inch long to make a notch that’ll prevent the lights from slipping off,” says Basher. “Stick one end of the lights in the slot, then wind them around the roll and place the other end in the opposite slot. The rolls are easy to store and they’ll keep your lights knot-free!”
