A duo of de­li­cious pud­dings lay­ered with sweet cherry sauce makes an im­pres­sive dessert that’s a cinch to cre­ate

1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen pit­ted dark sweet cher­ries, thawed, juices re­served 1⁄ cup sugar 3 1 Tbs. corn­starch 6 cups milk 1 ( 5.9 oz.) pkg. in­stant choco­late pud­ding mix 1 ( 5.1 oz.) pkg. in­stant vanilla pud­ding mix Whipped top­ping, choco­late shav­ings and cher­ries, op­tional

In pot, com­bine cher­ries, sugar and re­served juices; over low heat, bring to a sim­mer. Mix 2 Tbs. wa­ter and corn­starch; stir into pot. Cook un­til thick­ened, stir­ring. Pour into bowl; cool. Chill.

Us­ing 3 cups milk, pre­pare choco­late pud­ding ac­cord­ing to pack­age direc­tions. Pre­pare vanilla pud­ding with re­main­ing milk. In each of 6 glasses, layer 1⁄ cup choco­late pud4 ding, 1 Tbs. cherry mix­ture, 1⁄ cup vanilla pud­ding, 1 Tbs. 2 cherry mix­ture and 1⁄ cup 4 choco­late pud­ding. Gar­nish.
