Get a cold car to start by filling it up

-

Be sure to fill your tank at least halfway before a cold snap. Why? Cars need more fuel to start in the winter, so a tank near “E” makes it harder on your engine. Plus, the more gas, the better—that’s because it contains ethanol, which prevents ice crystals in the fuel line, a top culprit behind sluggish engines.
